The English Department at Army Public School Bathinda is dedicated to fostering  love for the English language and literature among our students. Our mission is to equip students with effective communication skills, critical thinking and a deep understanding of literary texts.

Our English faculty comprises experienced and passionate educators who are committed to create  a supportive and stimulating learning environment.

1. Under the able guidance of Ms Neeti Garg (HOD English Deptt.), APS Bathinda was adjudged as Second Best team in National  AWES English Debate Competition held at APS Shankar Vihar,New Delhi (2024). The school even bagged the position of Second Best Speaker For and Against the Motion.

2. APS Bathinda secured the first position in South Western Command Inter APS English Debate Competition held at APS Jaipur  (2025)

3. The school also won the position of Best Interjector in AWES National English Debate Competition held at APS Delhi Cantt (2025)    

 Public Speaking Club : Helps foster leadership, teamwork and problem solving abilities among students.

 Creative Writing Competitions: Provides a platform for students to express themselves through creative writing

Debate Competitions : Encourages students to analyse topics, research, form opinions, helps students overcome stage fear and build self assurance.
